Michael Arrington is right – regrettably:
You haven’t arrived until your web application has a German clone, it seems. Web innovation in that country too often distills down to “copy/paste innovation.â€
And now, Freundfeed, which doesn’t appear to be a joke. Not only is it a ripoff of the FriendFeed name, they also use the same logo. The service hasn’t launched yet, but I’m willing to make an educated guess and say that it will likely rip off the rest of FriendFeed, too.

Hi, hast Recht. Echt peinlich. Werdet Ihr ja ändern… Off topic: “Playing Lego” ist mal ne kreative Kategorie. Komm mal in Twitter solange SLife Mittagsschlaf macht. ;-)

I know the guys. They work hard at the moment to be a copy tiger (aka: to be bigger than a copy cat). And they are working on a new logo, also.

I think there is a difference between a pure copy cat and an improved copy cat. Innovation also means continuously improving a product. Some copy cats are innovative, others are not. They just copy.
