New release, new bugs – as it always is and will be:

Facebook released their new design tonight and it threw the platform into somewhat of a chaotic state for a period of time. The update went live at around 10:15 PM eastern and it appears that the errors continue to be taking place right now. Many users have been complaining that the site has been inaccessible. Some pages are clearly not displaying properly if at all.

The next social networking battle has begun:

Facebook is pursuing social networks it believes have copied their design or features by suing German social network StudiVZ. The Financial Times has reported that Facebook filed a suit in the Californian Supreme Court against the German company for what it claims is an infringement of Facebook’s “look, feel, features and services”.

Yesterday I uploaded my first video on Facebook and you could only upload a video with the max. size of 100 MB and shorter than 10 minutes.  Today it is possible to upload a video of 300 MB and shorter than 20 minutes. That´s pretty cool. The videos are getting bigger. I am really excited, what size I can upload tomorrow.
