XML in der Praxis und in .NET

filed under: playing Lego — Martin @ 6:51 pm

This is for our German readers: Die Technologien XML und .NET sind ein integraler Bestandteil unserer Plattform SnipClip.

Start-up with Silverlight

filed under: the offline world — Martin @ 11:56 am

“Start-up with Silverlight” is the title of our showcase at the BASTA! conference in Mainz (22.  – 26. September). Here is the abstract (in German language because the presentation will be in German too):

Hope to see you in Mainz – a beautiful city by the way! Have a good time!

Sessions from MIX08

filed under: playing Lego — Martin @ 2:53 pm

The sessions from the MIX08 conference are now available online: as video stream or as downloadable Windows Media file. Btw: you need Silverlight to view the website – or what did you expect? ;)

I didn’t have the time yet to watch them all, but we’ll report here, which sessions are worth watching. If you are interested e.g. in the Microsoft Sync Framework and the FeedSync protocol (interesting for synchronization, replication and offline-ability of online applications), watch this session:

Using the Microsoft Sync Framework and FeedSync

Sorry, no embedded video :(

Nevertheless, have a good time watching it!

We are searching.

filed under: in our own best interest — Martin @ 11:17 am

We are searching for people like us, people who want to change the world, or at least, the world of digital content.

To be precise we search for

  • a .NET / Silverlight programmer – qualifications: not necessarily a diploma in computer science, but experience in programming with .NET
  • a Chief Financing Officer – qualifications: worked as an accountant for two or three years for international clients; experience in international tax and finance law; no diploma required.
  • a Chief Marketing Officer – qualifications: worked for several years in the media and entertainment industry, preferred in the US.

Of course, you should be a team player and love to work much, but earn less, i.e. work for a startup and get rich in experience and – hope so – money. Sounds great? Then contact us.

02/16/2008: There are now job profiles.
